Leeds United may not quite be top of the Championship table but they do currently find themselves top of the leaderboard when it comes to the average attendances in the league so far this season - and by some distance.
In eight home matches so far this term, the Whites have amassed 17 points, with five wins, two draws and one defeat.
In total, 281,363 supporters have watched Leeds at Elland Road far this term, meaning the Whites boast the highest average attendance in the Championship, standing at 35,170 - which is over 7,000 more than their closet rivals.
This figure puts Leeds United head and shoulders above everyone else in the division when it comes to attendance figures - something Angus Kinnear was keen to point out in his programme notes ahead of the win over Blackburn Rovers.
"Our average home league attendance this season is now at over a remarkable 35,000," wrote the Leeds chief executive. "This makes us head and shoulders the best attended club in the Championship and would rank us 11th in the Premier League, a position only constrained by a stadium not big enough to accommodate the demand from our superb support."
