Why Joe Lolley was 'shocked' after Nottingham Forest's win over Derby County

Joe Lolley joked he was "as shocked" as everyone when he scored with a header in Nottingham Forest's win over Derby County.

The Reds ace powered in a header to make it 2-0 against the Rams at the City Ground on Tuesday night.

Forest tweeted a picture of his goal, and said: "Not a bad time to score your first ever header."

And Lolley responded after the final whistle.

"Absolutely I am as shocked as you all," he wrote on Twitter.

Lolley is renowned for his long-range strikes, but he showed great aerial ability to double Forest's lead against Derby on 35 minutes as he attacked an Albert Adomah cross into the penalty area.

Adomah had put the Reds 1-0 ahead and the Reds' record signing Joao Carvalho completed a 3-0 win in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
