Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner has great competitiveness, length, and physicality. His ability to lock down receivers remained unmatched in college, not giving up a single touchdown in his entire career. He is technically sound, and has the athleticism to make up for any lost steps. He will immediately provide a major upgrade at that position, and be their true lockdown corner.
He will slide in right away at CB1 for the Jets, an important position in that Robert Saleh defense. He will be the answer for the stud-filled passing game in the AFC East, and look to keep his no-touchdown streak going.
