Why Jaguars fans should be excited about Jawaan Taylor

With the 35th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars beefed up their offensive line with the selection of Florida offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor.

Taylor was a surprising omission from the first round, but a knee injury dropped him out. He is an absolute brute on the offensive line who plays with a high motor and a lot of strength in his frame. He has solid foot quickness for a 312-pound man, and he packs a dangerous punch upon the initial point of contact at the line of scrimmage. The former Gator also has a long, six-foot-five frame with 35 1/8-inch arms.

Jacksonville secures a tackle with a high ceiling to pair along with 2017 second-round pick Cam Robinson. With Nick Foles now under center, they needed some help up front, and they certainly found that in Taylor.
