Why isn't Love Island on? The dating show will air at a later time tonight

Love Island fans will be left waiting an extra hour to catch their latest fix of the dating show.

Episodes usually air at 9pm daily.

But tonight viewers will have to hang on until 10pm instead because of the England vs Denmark game.

Viewers will have to wait for their Love Island fix (ITV)

"What if it goes to penalties?" asked another.

The semi-finals of Euro 2020 will see the nations battling it out for a place in Sunday's final against Italy.

Kick-off is at 8pm so ensure football fans can watch both, Love Island will start at the later time.

During a turbulent first week of coupling up and dumping viewers have been treated to the arrival of two new bombshells.

After Rachel Finni's decision to couple up with Brad McClelland and to have Chuggs Wallis dumped from the island, Lucinda Strafford and Millie Court have arrived to shake things up.

During the Love Island launch last Monday viewers were panicking as they tried to watch the new series online only to be left disappointed.

Fans flocked to Twitter after being unable to view ITV2's hit dating show on the live streaming service ITV Hub.

Football fans tuning into the main channel for France vs Switzerland coverage also had issues and reported that that it was down.

It was a blow to Love Island fans excited to have the show back after 18 months.

The coronavirus pandemic meant the 2020 summer series had to be cancelled and there was no winter edition this year.

But as they waited to meet a new batch of singletons arriving at the famous TV villa in Mallorca, viewers began complaining of issues.

"As if ITV hub has crashed" fumed one.

"ITV HUB NEEDS TO BEHAVE!! WHAT IS THIS BUFFERING ABOUT?" shouted another fan.
