This is why Jeremy Kyle isn't on today - ITV viewers' disappointment as Dickinson's Real Deal shown instead

TV fans were left disappointed this morning (May 13) as they wondered why one of their favourite shows isn't on the telly.

Viewers have taken to social media to ask why morning regular Jeremy Kyle is not being broadcast.

One person wrote: "Full offence where the hell is Jeremy Kyle ??? I ain’t watching Dickinson’s Real Deal at half 9 in the morning."

Another commented: "whoah whoah whoahhhhhhh ITV why have i got dickinsons real deal on my tv when it should be Jeremy Kyle I AINT HAVING THIS ON A MONDAY MORNING - shame on you haha."

According to the Radio Times listings, the show should have started at 9.25am but Dickinson's Real Deal is instead being shown.

UPDATE: The Sun reports an ITV spokesperson said the episode was not screened because a participant died a week after its recording.

A spokesperson for the broadcaster continued: "given the seriousness of this event, ITV has also decided to suspend both filming and broadcasting of The Jeremy Kyle Show with immediate effect in order to give it time to conduct a review of this episode of the show.”
