Why is Loose Women not on ITV today?

Fans of Loose Women will be confused when tuning in for their regular fix today.

The ITV panel show is off air today due to the Chancellor delivering his 2021 Budget.

Instead of catching up with the Loose Women on Wednesday, ITV's Lunchtime News will air from 12.15pm.

But do not worry, Loose Women will be back as normal on Thursday (March 4).

Rishi Sunak will be in the standing up in the House of Commons at around 12.30pm to unveil the government's spending plan on his annual statement.

It was already revealed last night that he would be revealing an extension to the furlough scheme until the end of September.

Today, Mr Sunak is expected to lay out a three-point economic plan focused on supporting people through the Covid-19 pandemic, fixing the public finances and building the future economy.

The Chancellor is expected to unveil the Budget in the House of Commons at around 12.30pm on Wednesday, March 3.

He will then later lead a Downing Street press conference which usually takes place at 5pm.
