Why I'm A Celeb's Ant and Dec cover their watches during BushTucker Trials

If you count yourself as an 'eagle-eyed' viewer when it comes to ITV's I'm A Celebrity, you may have noticed that hosts Ant and Dec cover up their watch faces when it comes to Bushtucker Trials.

Many people seem to have spotted this, and have been demanding answers on social media.

It's a question that comes up every year and, to be honest, the answer isn't all that surprising.

Luckily, former Queen of the Jungle Scarlett Moffatt has the answer for 2019. Hurrah.

Speaking to OK!, the 29-year-old explained how the campmates aren't allowed to know what time it is - yet another factor designed to put the celebrities to the ultimate test.

"I think it's just so you're really disorientated, like we had no concept of time,” she explained.

“I always remember, and I don't know if I'm allowed to say this.

"We all once went to bed at around 4pm and obviously you're just in there by yourself, but they did have to say, 'Guys, it's a lot earlier than you think.'

Bushtucker trial deemed "unfair" by viewers – Do you think you could finish this in 90 seconds?

"Because you just have no idea!"

Well, that clears up that then. Until 2020 at least, anyway.
