The Robins have signed just three players on the final day of the last five winter windows - David Cotterill and Matty Taylor in 2017 and Richard O'Donnell in 2016.
Only five sides currently in the Championship have signed fewer.
Preston North End signed just one while Birmingham City, Blackburn, Brentford and Huddersfield all signed two each.
Wigan, on the other hand, have signed more than any other club - a massive 15 players.
Jonas Olsson and Beni Baningime both joined the Latics last January deadline day, while Devante Cole joined 12 months earlier.
Wigan signed a remarkable 15 players on the 2017 winter window deadline day - Jack Byrne, Omar Bogle, Josh Laurent, Gabriel Obertan, Mikael Mandron, James Weir, Alex Bruce and Matt Gilks - one in 2016 - Conor McAleny - and three in 2015 - Leon Clarke, Gaetan Bong and Sheyi Ojo.
Nottingham Forest have signed the next most after Wigan with 12, followed by Luton with 10, Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday with nine each and then Hull and Cardiff with eight each.
