Why heroic Eagles fan called out Nelson Agholor: Philly loss ‘messed up my whole day’

Hakim Laws became a hero early Monday morning when he caught Philadelphia residents — including a child — who were being thrown from a burning building.

He went viral partially because of those heroics … and because he said he was “catching ’em, unlike Agholor,” calling out Eagles wideout Nelson Agholor for his drops during a loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday. Agholor more than took it in stride, tweeting “Thank you for being a hero in the community, would like to invite you and your family to the next home game.”

NBC10 Philadelphia caught up with Laws and asked the question we all wanted to know: How was he citing that Eagles loss after his heroism?

“Messed up my whole day! That was earlier the same day, that happened, maybe 12 hours or so, less than that. Yeah, I’m gonna think about that all day.”

Hopefully, Agholor got in touch and can thank him in person.
