Hamza Igamane's move to Lille could be in doubt as Rangers hold out for top dollar.
The French giants are interested in the Gers forward and a deal has looked likely as talks progressed to an advanced stage.
The Ibrox club reportedly placed a £15 million target on his head, which would give them a substantial profit on the £1.7m paid a year ago.
However, that could now seemingly create a stumbling block. L'Equipe report that the Ligue 1 side are "studying other profiles besides that of the Moroccan international", although talks with Rangers are still ongoing.

Lille have already signed Olivier Giroud and are looking to add Vivaldo Semedo from Udinese. They could now turn to an alternative to Igamane as they look to revamp their forward line.
Previous reports had suggested the Ibrox man was less of a priority due to the emergence of Semedo, but that Lille would still look to a deal later in the window.
Russell Martin is looking to bolster the squad he inherited and any funds generated from selling the Moroccan could come in handy.
He has already brought in Max Aarons, Joe Rothwell and Emmanuel Fernandez. along with Lyall Cameron who was already signed on a pre-contract. Thelo Aasgaard and Nasser Djiga are expected to follow.
