Rangers fans fume amid talk of Leeds United preparing £10m bid for Ryan Kent

Leeds United are reportedly eyeing a move for Rangers winger Ryan Kent.

The Whites are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the new Premier League season, with Marcelo Bielsa desperate to add quality in several areas.

Forward positions is thought to be a position that Bielsa wants additional depth, and according to The Scottish Sun, Leeds are preparing a £10million bid for Kent.

The report claims Bielsa is a big fan of the former Liverpool winger, having previously failed on two occasions to sign him.

But the 23-year old signed a four-year deal with Rangers last year after completing a £7million move from Anfield, and it is claimed that the Scottish side are not looking to sell one of their star players.

Regardless, Rangers fans have taken to social media to voice their concern that the club could be forced to cash in on one of their key assets if Leeds offer an acceptable amount.

One supporter tweeted: "Easily our best player. Do not sell."

Another wrote: "Why would Kent want to go to a smaller club?"

A third said: "Would have to be minimum £15m to make us consider it."

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard was previously full of praise for the winger, hailing his ability to affect the big games.

“I like players to back themselves, I like swagger in the right way. Ryan will never lack that," he said last season.

“It doesn’t matter if Ryan is playing in a friendly match in pre-season or playing in front of 50,000 against a Champions League team. Ryan Kent will back himself.”
