Why first Liverpool and Everton derby is set for huge change as Premier League 2019/20 fixtures released

The Premier League fixtures for 2019/20 have been released today and Everton and Liverpool fans are set for a big change for the first Merseyside derby of the season.

It will take place at Anfield on the evening of Wednesday 4 December - and it will be shown on Amazon Prime.

As part of a new £90million package, Amazon will show all 10 Boxing Day fixtures as well as 10 games from the first round of midweek fixtures in December, including Liverpool vs Everton.

The second derby of the season is currently scheduled to take place at Goodison Park on Saturday 14 March next year.

Liverpool begin their season at home to Norwich City in a Friday night 8pm kick off.

The Blues get underway at Crystal Palace the next day on Saturday 10 August.

Everton end their season at home to Bournemouth, while Liverpool's final fixture is a trip to Newcastle United.

On Boxing Day, the Reds travel to Leicester City and Marco Silva's men face Burnley at home.

And on New Year's Day, the Blues take on Man City away while Jurgen Klopp's men are at home to Sheffield United.
