The Atlanta Falcons have selected Boston College OG Chris Lindstrom with the 14th overall selection in the 2019 NFL Draft.
A solid addition that to an offensive line that struggled last season. Lindstrom is a really well rounded lineman who has an extremely high floor in the NFL. He is a talented run blocker and really sound in pass protection as well with strong hands and quick feet. He was also excellent at the Senior Bowl against top competition.
For the Falcons, taking the chance on Lindstrom could turn out to be quite beneficial. Lindstrom is a sound player who should lock down one of their guard positions on the offensive line. The key to winning in this league is keeping your quarterback clean and opening big run lanes.
Lindstrom should provide a big boost in both areas and help solidify that line. Good, solid pick that keeps the offense playing at a high level going into 2019.
