Former Celtic striker Oh Hyeon-gyu reportedly saw a €28million move to the Bundesliga fall through on transfer deadline day.
The South Korean scored 12 goals in 47 appearances for the Parkhead club before leaving for Genk last summer in a deal said to be worth €2.7m.
In his first year at the Belgian side, Oh scored 12 times across all competitions, averaging a goal or assist every 55 minutes in the league.

He began this campaign in fine fettle, too, netting twice and setting up another in his first five appearances.
The 24-year-old's form attracted interest from Stuttgart. Indeed, on Sunday, it was widely reported that Oh was set to complete a €28m move to the Bundesliga outfit.
On deadline day, though, the transfer fell through. Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri reports on X that Stuttgart found an issue in Oh's medical, and thus wanted to renegotiate the deal with Genk, who refused.

The centre-forward will now stay put.
After leaving Celtic last summer, Oh said: "I had lost my place in my national team because I was no longer playing for Celtic.
"It was then I knew I had to get a transfer.
"I scored 12 goals in total for Celtic, but I hardly played in the last six months.
"They had brought in a new striker, someone with a different profile - a big, strong boy - and they had to find a solution for me.
"I thought that was a shame at first because I really loved Celtic. It's a great club.
"But when Genk came calling, I didn't hesitate. I had a few options in the English Championship, but I just wanted to come here."
