Why Celtic have been charged by the SFA and how Jozo Simunovic played a big role

Celtic's second SFA charge relates to an incident after a penalty was awarded against Jeremie Frimpong in the 2-1 win over Partick Thistle.

Jozo Simunovic, Fraser Forster and Frimpong all crowded referee Alan Muir to confront him after the decision to award the spot kick.

Frimpong was adjudged to have fouled Dario Zanatta in the last minute and the three Celtic players surround Muir.

Simunovic then puts his arm on the official and the Hoops could now be fined for the incident.

The breach comes from rule 204 which states: "All Clubs and recognised football bodies shall procure that its officials, Team Staff, employees and players conduct themselves in an orderly fashion at all times during and/or after a match."

Motherwell were previously fined under the rule when Richard Tait shouted at a referee during a clash with St Johnstone back in September and the club were hit with a suspended £2500 fine.

Celtic have also been charged for failure to control their players in the 4-1 win over Hamilton with both clubs cited by the SFA.

Players from both teams clashed early in the first-half after a tangle between Leigh Griffiths and Sam Woods.

The Celtic star was later cleared by the governing body amid accusations he "stamped" on the Accies defender.

Griffiths was confronted by Alex Gogic which led to several players becoming involved.

The pair were the only players to be booked by referee Nick Walsh in the aftermath.

Accies' Jamie Hamilton was then shown a straight red card for a last man foul on Griffiths minutes later.

The incident falls also under the aforementioned SFA disciplinary rule 204.

If found guilty, Celtic and the Accies face a fine ranging from £2,500 to £20,000.
