Why Celtic are on a 'different level' to Copenhagen - Back Page Football Show

Celtic arrive in Denmark as favourites in their Europa League last 32 clash with Copenhagen.

Neil Lennon's side cruised through a group that looked hugely hazardous and have acquired a big game continental nous.

The Premiership champions, of course, will take nothing for granted at the Parken Stadium on Thursday night.

But our sports writers have backed Celtic to get the job done quickly.

Jonny McFarlane sat down with Keith Jackson and Fraser Wilson and the consensus was Lennon's team will have too much for their opponents.

Keith said: "My money would be going on Celtic (to qualify).

"In fact, I'd go as far as saying I expect them to win in Copenhagen and pretty much make really light work of the second leg.

"If you've got a couple of quid, put on 2-1 Celtic because that's probably the result you're going to get.

"Had this game been before the winter break I'd have still taken Celtic.

"And that was when they were still some considerable distance short of their own top form.

"Since they've come back they've settled into their stride, they're playing at their top level.

"It's going to be way too good (for Copenhagen)."
