Speaking to Goal in April, when Kean was at Juventus, Ancelotti said: "I was impressed and surprised by Kean.

"His beginning of the year was amazing and there's been careful management of the player, on and off the field.

"He has the good fortune of training with a phenomenon of the calibre of Cristiano [Ronaldo]."

Ancelotti certainly seemed to think Kean had potential when he saw him play earlier in the year and he may be able to bring the best out of him should Everton appoint the former Napoli manager.

Having a coach who speaks his native language could also help Kean and Ancelotti may be able to relate to the difficulty he has had settling in at Everton.
