Why Cardinals fans should be excited about Andy Isabella

The Arizona Cardinals traded quarterback Josh Rosen to the Miami Dolphins and received the 62nd overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. With the pick, the Cardinals selected Massachusetts wide receiver Andy Isabella.

Isabella was a valuable slot receiver at UMass, but he has the potential to be on the outside, as well. An accomplished track athlete and an impressive speedster, he ran a 4.31 40-yard dash at the Combine, and his acceleration and deep speed on tape match that time. He can change direction very well, and he has good body control and can sink his hips into his routes.

Though only five-foot-nine, his athleticism makes him a solid value here.

The Cardinals now have a good trio of receivers for Kyler Murray next season with Larry Fitzgerald, Christian Kirk and Isabella. The rookie is an intriguing option for their new-look, Kliff Kingsbury offense.
