Why Bruno Fernandes was fuming with Anthony Taylor after Liverpool goal vs Manchester United

Bruno Fernandes was left fuming with referee Antony Taylor at half-time during Liverpool's clash with Manchester United on Thursday night.

The Portuguese had fired his side ahead only to see goals from Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino give Jurgen Klopp's men the lead at the break at Old Trafford.

And it was Liverpool's second goal that Fernandes took issue with as Firmino headed the Reds ahead in injury-time as he connected with Trent Alexander-Arnold's free-kick at the far post.

Liverpool won the free-kick after Jota was tripped on the edge of the United box.

However, Fernandes was down injured at the time in Liverpool's box after catching Thiago Alcantara when attempting a shot before landing awkwardly.

And with the playmaker displeased at Taylor's decision to let play go on, he was seen exchanging heated words with the referee when leaving the pitch.
