Why Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has been banned from daughter's sports day

Amanda Holden has been banned from attending sports day by her daughter.

The Britain's Got Talent judge admitted on her radio show she had been stopper from attending the event by her 13-year-old daughter Lexi due to her competitive spirit.

She added that her younger daughter Hollie, who is seven, still wants her to attend, Plymouth Live reports.

Speaking whilst presenting on Heart, Amanda said: "Lexi is a bit older and she has banned me from going to her sports day.

"It's on Friday but she isn't interested in anything parental."

She was asked by her co-host Jamie Theakston if it was because of her competitiveness and she agreed whilst laughing.

Amanda isn't the only famous parent at her oldest daughter's school, in fact she is overshadowed by a very well known actor.

She revealed that Colin Firth also sends his children to the same school and ironically it was during a sports day that she bumped into him.

"When Lexi was in year four I saw Colin Firth on a space hopper in the dad race," she said.

"We were all told we weren't allowed to get our phones out. Can you imagine?”
