Why aren’t Man Utd playing today? Next fixture for Ralf Rangnick's side

Many Manchester United fans will have realised that their team isn’t in action this weekend when they looked at the current fixture list.

And the Red Devils don’t have another Premier League game until Tuesday, February 8 when they travel to face Burnley.

But the reason that they will not be in action this weekend is because of the Premier League’s ongoing winter break, which spans a period of two weeks.

This also means that the Red Devils won’t have a top flight game next weekend either.

Why aren’t Man Utd playing today?

Man United have a two week break from the Premier League due to the enforced winter break, which allows teams to rest and recuperate following the midway point of the season and a hectic winter schedule.

The winter break has been scheduled to take place between January 24-February 8.

When is Man Utd’s next fixture?

The Red Devils are back in action on Friday, February 4 when they host Middlesbrough at Old Trafford in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup.

An early goal from Scott McTominay helped to defeat Aston Villa 1-0 in the previous round on January 10 at the Theatre of Dreams.

Is Man Utd vs Middlesbrough on TV?

Yes. The game has been chosen for live coverage and will be televised on ITV and ITV Hub, with the game scheduled to kick off at 8pm.

The next round of Premier League fixtures are set to take place between February 8-10, with Burnley vs Man Utd taking place on Tuesday, February 8.

The Red Devils’ last Premier League fixture ended in a 1-0 defeat of West Ham United at Old Trafford on January 22, thanks to a stoppage-time winner from Marcus Rashford.

Yes. This game has also been chosen for live coverage and will be televised on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate, with the game scheduled to kick-off at 8pm.
