Why aren't Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning and when will they be back

Over the past week, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have been absent from our TV screens - with many fans wondering where the pair could be.

If you switched to ITV you may have seen Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes presenting or Emily Atack and John Barrowman.

And today's instalment featured former The Saturday's singer Rochelle Humes.

On Friday, John opened the show wishing viewers a "fabulous" morning and said "and look who's here with me."

And Emily said: "I can't believe they're letting me do it, if anything goes wrong i have you to blame."

But it  didn't take long for fans  to criticise the I'm a Celeb stars presenting skills.

One said: "Seriously can't watch this morning today Barrowman is so stiff like watching a robot where's Eamonn and Ruthie to perk you up on a Friday."

Another said: "John Barrowman has zero natural presenting ability, as wooden as my dining room table leg, he's b***** awful. #ThisMorning "

A third said: "Three minutes in to John Barrowman and Emily Atack presenting #ThisMorning and it’s already too painful to  watch."

But others were happy to see some fresh faces on their screens.

One viewer said: "This will be FABULOUSSSSSSS! Good luck guys."

And a second said: "A couple of minutes into @thismorning and totally blown away by @EmAtack's presenting, a complete natural, looks like she's been doing it for years, and a hard first story to go in with.

"@JohnBarrowman fab as always."

*This Morning continues on ITV at 10:30am on Monday
