Why are so many Americans quitting their jobs?

The latest figures from the United States show a record 4.5 million workers quit their jobs in November. There are now roughly two available workers for every three job openings in the US, driving many employers to offer higher wages. But the trend, dubbed the "Great Resignation", isn't being replicated everywhere in the world, as FRANCE 24's Business Editor Stephen Carroll explains.
