Why are MSPs wearing daffodils at FMQs?

MANY people will have noticed MSPs wearing daffodils at FMQs on Wednesday. 

But why are they wearing them and what do they symbolise? 

What are the daffodils for? 

These pins are part of the charity Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal”. 

The funds raised in the appeal will help to provide care for those living with terminal illnesses, and help the charity push for a better end of life care for all. 

Marie Curie provide care and support for those living with any kind of terminal illness, including cancer, dementia and heart disease.
