Why are Liverpool not on TV against Derby County in the Carabao Cup?

Carabao Cup holders Liverpool are not on TV in the UK tonight as they begin the defence of their trophy against League One side Derby County at Anfield.

Sky Sports have selected Premier League champions Manchester City 's game against Chelsea as their one live game to be shown on TV tonight, leaving the Reds only available to be watched on foreign channels.

Manchester United's match against Aston Villa was moved to Thursday night so it could be shown on TV, but Liverpool 's game at home with Southampton on Saturday meant this was not possible.

You will be able to listen to radio commentary of the Liverpool match can be heard on TalkSPORT 2 and BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra as the Reds look to make it into the draw for the fourth round.

Jurgen Klopp's side are huge favourites to come through their third round tie with Derby, but the Reds boss is expected to make changes to his side tonight with several youngsters set to make their debuts.
