Residents have spotted two helicopters circling around Trent Bridge this afternoon.
But it seems to be a mystery as to why they have taken to our skies.
The helicopters have been spotted from West Bridgford, Lady Bay, The Meadows and Trent Bridge.
Residents said they have been seen circling the area for most of the afternoon.
Nottinghamshire Police confirmed that the helicopters have nothing to do with any police incidents in the local area.
It is believed the helicopters may have been connected to the triathlon event taking place at Victoria Embankment, but the organisers have not responded to a request for a comment.
