Why ambulance service was called to The Galleries shopping centre today

Paramedics were called to The Galleries shopping centre to treat an unwell child.

A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service spokesman said it was called at 11.40am today (November 27) to an incident in Broadmead.

He added: "Our land ambulance crew treated an unwell infant patient at the scene and discharged them."

A paramedic was seen waiting with an empty pram outside the shopping complex at 12.35pm.
