Why a number of police were seen in Nottingham street near Asda supermarket

Police have revealed why a number of officers were spotted in a Nottingham street on Monday morning.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to a street in Strelley on September 28, near to the Asda supermarket.

An eyewitness told Nottinghamshire Live she saw "at least six officers, a few police cars and a police van on one of the side roads."

Officers attended Bradfield Road in Strelley at around 8.45am on Monday (September 28) in relation to a domestic incident.

Police remain in the area, the force added. No one has been arrested as of yet.
