  • The ranking, based on 13,000 users of Expatsi's matching test, shows Spain and Italy as the second and third most popular destinations, highlighting Europe's appeal.
  • Another firm, Millionaire Migrant, confirms this trend, stating that 60 per cent of their Europe-focused clients prefer Portugal for remote work.
  • The top ten list also includes Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, and Greece, indicating diverse global interest.
  • Many of these popular countries offer specific visa pathways for Americans, such as digital nomad visas, which often provide benefits like residency, EU travel, and tax advantages.
