Who's performing at the FIFA World Cup final half-time show? Full line-up, timings, how to watch

The FIFA World Cup final is getting the Super Bowl treatment in 2026 with its first-ever half-time show.

Justin Bieber has joined Madonna, BTS and Shakira to headline the historic spectacle.

Burna Boy, Coldplay, Gustavo Dudamel and the PS22 Chorus will also take to the stage for the officially-titled FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Halftime Show.

From the blockbuster line-up to where it's happening and how it will work, here's everything we know so far:

Who is performing at the FIFA World Cup Final 2026 Halftime Show?

The line-up continues to grow, with FIFA confirming Justin Bieber as the latest superstar to join the show.

The singer will co-headline alongside Madonna, Shakira and BTS, while Burna Boy has also been added to perform Dai Dai, the tournament's official anthem, with Shakira.

Additional performances will come from conductor Gustavo Dudamel, the PS22 Chorus and Coldplay, whose frontman Chris Martin has curated the entire show.

Announcing the expanded line-up, FIFA president Gianni Infantino said: “We are proud to have Justin Bieber joining Madonna, Shakira and BTS to co-headline the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Halftime Show in support of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund and our mission to expand access to quality education and football opportunities for children around the world.

“Burna Boy, Gustavo Dudamel and PS22 Chorus ft. Coldplay will also join and play a key role in conveying a powerful message of unity and hope to billions of people worldwide.”

Bieber shared his enthusiasm, stating: “The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can. I’m grateful to be part of this Halftime Show, and even more grateful knowing it’s already helping expand access to education for children around the world.”

Where is the FIFA World Cup Final 2026 Halftime Show taking place?

The performance will take place at New York New Jersey Stadium during the FIFA World Cup final.

The venue, home to both the New York Giants and New York Jets, will host the biggest match of the tournament, with more than a billion viewers expected to tune in around the world.

When is the FIFA World Cup Final 2026 Halftime Show?

The inaugural FIFA World Cup Halftime Show will take place on Sunday, July 19 during the World Cup Final that kicks off at 8pm UK time.

Like the Super Bowl, the performance will be staged during the interval between the first and second halves of the match. It is expected to start at around 8.55pm, accounting for the hydration break and average stoppage time, barring anything major happening in the first half that causes a signinicant delay.

Exactly how FIFA plans to fit such a star-studded line-up into the traditional half-time break remains unclear, with the show's logistics yet to be revealed.

The set is scheduled to last for 11 minutes, The standard half-time break in football is 15 minutes, but with production and set-up for the show, it is expected to be longer on this occasion.

Who is producing the FIFA World Cup Final 2026 Halftime Show?

The show is being curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin as part of a partnership between FIFA and Global Citizen.

According to Infantino, the halftime show will be more than an entertainment spectacle. It will also support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which hopes to raise $100 million to help children around the world gain greater access to education and football.

“As the world unites for the most significant football match in history on Sunday 19 July 2026 at the New York New Jersey Stadium, this groundbreaking spectacle, curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay, will celebrate football, music and our shared values, ensuring a legacy that transcends the final whistle,” he said.
