Whoopi Goldberg launches inclusive clothing line

Over the years, Whoopi Goldberg has become one to watch on the fashion scene.

From sitting front row at New York Fashion Week to sharing unique OOTDs with her 883k Instagram followers, there is no denying that the Sister Act star has a passion for fashion.

It comes as no surprise then that the 63-year-old has now embarked on a fashion venture of her own, launching her first ever clothing line, 'Dubgee'.

"DUBGEE has no race, creed, age or size. It’s meant to make you feel good about how you look and feel," states the brand's Instagram bio. The first collection is exclusively available to pre-order on Neiman Marcus, with the official launch taking place on May 15, when it will also be available on Dubgee.com and Amazon.

Centered around comfort and size-inclusivity, with sizes ranging from 1x-3x (size 14 to 24), the brand features a range of flattering and relaxed silhouettes including tunics, cocoon dresses, drawstring trousers and patterned shirts, which Whoopi has been modelling over the past few months.

She first donned one of her designs on the front row at New York Fashion Week way back in September 2018, showcasing a pink jumper adorned with the phrase: "I am the American dream".

The presenter has also revealed several items while co-hosting US chatshow The View, giving fans a first glimpse at the Plus Size Gingham Seersucker Button-Front Easy Shirt (£169) and the Half Herringbone Striped Long Kimono Dress (£453).

As she gears up for the clothing line's launch, Goldberg has turned her Instagram into influencer heaven, trying on some of favourite designs in the most charming, Whoopi way.
