Panasonic Siew Sales (Thailand) and the Fine Arts Department invites artists and creatives to enter the 21st "Panasonic Contemporary Painting Competition: For The Happiness Of Mankind" to vie for cash prizes and Panasonic products worth more than 500,000 baht.

Held to promote Panasonic's mission to develop innovation for a better life and a better world, this year's competition focuses on the theme "Creativity Of A Wholesome Life". Contestants are encouraged to adopt this concept to inspire their creation and incorporate innovation, art and happiness into their artwork.
Entrants must be Thai nationals residing in Thailand. Each entry must be an original work which has never before been exhibited nor entered into any competition. Each contestant can submit no more than three works, no larger than 2x2m (including frame).
Sitting on the judging panel will be distinguished members Prof Emeritus Kamchorn Soonpongsri, Ajarn Thongchai Rakpathum and Prof Emeritus Ithipol Thangchalok.
Submissions can be made on June 4-5 at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Chiang Mai University, the Faculty of Fine Arts of Khon Kaen University, the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts of Mahasarakam University, the Faculty of Fine Arts of Thaksin University (Songkhla), the College of Arts of Nakhon Si Thammarat and the Fine and Applied Arts of Burapa University. In Bangkok, entries should be submitted at The Jam Factory on June 6-7.
The winners will be announced on June 12 via panasonic.com/th. The award ceremony will be held at the National Gallery Bangkok, along with an exhibition of the winning entrants from Aug 4-27.
