'Wholesale changes' - Nottingham Forest fans say Huddersfield Town defeat exposes problems

Nottingham Forest slumped to a 2-0 defeat to struggling Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon.

Goals from Aaron Rowe and Juninho Bacuna either side of half-time moved Carlos Corberan’s team eight points clear of the Championship bottom three.

It was a frustrating afternoon for Chris Hughton, who saw his side suffer familiar issues, as they failed to convert a flurry of early opportunities.

The result left Forest fans bitterly disappointed ahead of Wednesday's game against Birmingham City. Here's a look at what was said on Twitter.

Dave Holmes: Move on to midweek, let’s get safety secured. Poor all round today.

Alan Macleod: It’s happening again. Half the squad on the beach as won’t be here next season anyway meaning we will struggle for another point. Unpopular opinion but I would rather Rotherham just lose. I don’t trust our lads one bit.

Merv Smith: Inability to compete with the top clubs and an even bigger inability to compete with the lower clubs unfortunately our league position is a true reflection of where this club should be in this league making last season a flash in the pan.

Luke Hawksley: Still expecting wholesale changes again at Forest in summer, you cant help but feel Hughton is set on this 11 bar one or two and the reality is they still arnt very good

The cycling defender: Let’s get it right, we’re not going down but it’s so frustrating today because we did play like a side with nothing to play for and surely the momentum going into next season is valuable?

Warren Allsworth: Dreadful performance against a poor side. Ref was shocking as well. Move on quick!

Paul Severn: I didn't really see that coming. Both goals came from comfortable possession for us.

I won't be cheering on Rotherham or teams around Derby until we are safe and secure. Now on to a very tough one at Birmingham. A very frustrating day.
