Whole street comes out for coronavirus lockdown fitness party

A whole Fazakerley street came out to strut its funky stuff to keep everyone's spirits up during the coronavirus lockdown.

People of all ages stepped out of their homes in First Avenue this morning to enjoy some physical exercise while practising safe social distancing.

The healthy workout was carried out to the strains of I Like To Move It, with everyone entering into the spirit of the occasion.

One member of the street, Thomas Thomason, who is a front line key worker, dressed as Mr Motivator, while there was also a fitness instructor present.

Organiser Lyndsey Thomason said: "Everyone comes out on to the street to clap NHS workers on a Thursday at eight o'clock, so it was decided to have a full fitness class

"It's lovely to see everyone keeping their spirits high."
