Darren Aronofsky has announced via Twitter that Sir Anthony Hopkins has joined the cast of Noah, the director's biblical follow-up to Black Swan.

Noah will also star Russell Crowe in the title role, and Logan Lerman and Douglas Booth as Noah's sons, Ham and Shem. Emma Watson, Jennifer Connolly and Ray Winstone are among the actors tipped to join them in Aronofsky's retelling of the biblical tale.
