If you’ve ever wondered who the fastest guy in the NFL is, you might have your answer soon. 40 Yards of Gold is putting together a 40-yard dash tournament to see which player is the best. This got us thinking about which current Pittsburgh Steelers player would represent in a tournament like this.
Our money would be on rookie linebacker Devin Bush. Several guys on the roster have documented 40 times under 4.5 but Bush is the youngest and fresh off of the scouting combine and his training for the 40.
If the Steelers really wanted to have a representative in this to win it, they’d sign wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey back. He was always the speediest guy on the team. Historically, the fastest players to ever play for the Steelers are names like Ike Taylor, Dwight Stone, Willie Parker and Mike Wallace.
