Who won Tyson Fury vs Otto Wallin? Result from heavyweight clash

Tyson Fury survived a huge scare against Otto Wallin to ensure his rematch with Deontay Wilder remains on track.

The Brit was fighting in Las Vegas for the second time this year following his second-round stoppage of Tom Schwarz in June.

This time he needed the scorecards as he managed to navigate his way through the fight despite suffering a bad cut.

Wallin came to the ring at the T-Mobile Arena a huge underdog despite his record of 20-0.

He had barely been tested as a professional and was taking a huge step up against the former heavyweight world champion.

But he made an assured start as Fury looked to make the most of his seven-inch reach advantage.

Wallin however looked composed as he looked to get inside the giant Mancunian.

Fury switched to southpaw in the second session while Wallin targeted the favourite's body.

And the fight took a dramatic turn in the third round when Fury was badly cut above the right eye courtesy of a solid left hand from Wallin.

The Brit was constantly pawing at the gash as he was forced to deal with unexpected drama.

And Wallin's physical approach was causing the former champion plenty of problems by the halfway stage - but the Swede crossed the line when he attempted to 'thumb' the cut.

Fury came out all guns firing in the seventh round as he attempted to take matters into his own hands.

And he appeared to have turned the fight in his direction by the eighth round as Wallin in contrast appeared tired.

The Brit turned on the pressure in the ninth stanza as he looked to manage his way to the end of the fight.

Fury enjoyed one of best spells of the fight in the 10th round as Wallin wilted.

The Swede dug deep in the final session but Fury was able to cling on before the judges gave him the nod by scores of 116-112, 117-111 and 118-110.
