Who won the Grand National 2018

It’s officially Grand National week, and many will be thinking about just which horse they’ll be backing at Aintree race course on the big day.

As the three-day festival is fast approaching, you might be trying to remember the name of the horse who won the big race last year.

The Randox Health Grand National 2018 crown went to Gordon Elliott’s Tiger Roll, under Davy Russell.

Thousands cheered on the 38 runners and riders of the 5.15pm race, where Tiger Roll sped past the finishing post ahead of Pleasant Company, who came in a close second.

The two horses were followed by Bless The Wings and Anibale Fly.

Last year, Tiger Roll was fresh from a victory at Cheltenham Festival’s Cross Country Chase , which he went on to win again just last month.

This year, Tiger Roll and Anibale Fly are both favourites according to www.grandnational.org.uk - you can find tips for 2019 here .
