Who won The Circle 2019? Paddy Smyth gets emotional as he is announced winner

Paddy Smyth has won The Circle 2019 in the live final.

Emma Willis hosted the show on Channel 4 for the final time this year as the finalists prepared to see who came out on top.

In a game where anyone can be anyone, players of the show live in the same building but reside in completely different apartments.

But the players never meet face to face and communicate only via social media platform The Circle in a bid to be voted the most popular by other contestants.

The five finalists - Tim, Woody, Georgina, Sammie and Paddy - competed for the final prize and ranked each other in order of their favourite to least favourite people.

After placing their votes, the contestants finally met each other face-to-face for the first time.

Viewers watched as the finalists met and Sammie was revealed as catfisher James.

As it came to the results, Paddy took home the crown as announced by host Emma Willis.
