Who won the 2020 Virtual Grand National? The full result and finishing positions from the Aintree showpiece

Potters Corner won the 2020 version of the Virtual Grand National today in the hands of Jack Tudor and for trainer Christian Williams.

The computer stimulation version of the race has been a quirky part of the build-up to the big race in recent years.

But after the Cov-19 outbreak saw the real version being cancelled - denying Tiger Roll the chance to win three Aintree Grand Nationals on the spin - the virtual version has took centre stage.

The computer predicted Tiger Roll's 2018 success and picked two of the first three home in last year's race albeit not in the right order.

And this year's virtual race saw Tiger Roll travelling well throughout but his big weight told in the end as it was Welsh National hero Potters Corner (18/1) who came out on top ahead of a fast finishing Walk In The Mill.

Tiger Roll ran a gallant race back in fourth place behind the Ted Walsh-trained Any Second Now.

Result of the 2020 Virtual Grand National

1st: Potters Corner 18/1

2nd: Walk In The Mill 16/1

3rd: Any Second Now 10/1

4th: Tiger Roll 5/1

5th: Burrows Saint 12/1
