Who won Love Island 2019 and are they still together?

ITV's hit show Love Island will be launching its seventh series very soon.

The show is rumoured to start on Monday, June 28 from the usual Mallorca villa.

It will be hosted by Laura Whitmore for a second year and narrated by Iain Stirling for the sixth year in a row.

The pair said 'I do' during lockdown in 2020 and revealed that they had a baby daughter in April.

Love Island’s Summer 2020 programme had to be cancelled due to coronavirus but a winter show aired earlier that year.

The last series to be hosted in summer was in 2019 and saw Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea crowned winners.

The pair won against Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury after securing 48.82% of the final votes.

However, Amber claimed she was dumped by fellow winner Greg by text just weeks after leaving the villa.

Amber bounced back and focussed on work, securing a deal with Miss Pap and being sponsored by other brands such as Public Desire and Katie Loxton.

The former beauty therapist has also launched her own fitness platform, Amber Flexx, after gaining weight during lockdown.

She also joined fellow Love Island alumni out in Dubai for some winter sun where they soaked up the rays and escaped England’s lockdown.

Rugby player Greg has been involved in a number of business ventures including sponsored content on Instagram, hosting a podcast and also passing his latest round of law exams.

He’s also been living back in Ireland during lockdown.

Caroline Flack hosted 2019’s series, announcing Amber and Greg as winners before her death in 2020.
