Through two nights of the NFL Network’s Top 100 players for 2019, the Pittsburgh Steelers have had two players. Linebacker T.J. Watt is the No. 93 player and defensive tackle Cam Heyward is the No. 88 player. As fans, we obviously think this is too low but that isn’t why we are here. What we want to know is who do you think will be the next Steeler to appear on the list?
Realistically, Ben Roethlisberger, James Conner, JuJu Smith-Schuster, David DeCastro and Maurkice Pouncey are the other Steelers likely to make the list. Which no one would complain if seven Steelers made it. But who is next?
Our money is on Conner. He had a strong first season as the starting running back and the NFL Network even teased him making the list. You would hope guys like DeCastro and Roethlisberger would come much later and it’s hard to say where the rest of the league viewed Smith-Schuster’s breakout season.
