Who will be Vikings 2019 MVP?

Dan Hanzus from NFL.com predicted his MVPs for each team in 2019.

He gave quarterback Kirk Cousins the nod for the Minnesota Vikings.

If Cousins is indeed the team’s MVP in 2019, that will be a very good thing for the Vikings who are coming off a disappointing 8-7-1 season, the first season with Cousins at the helm.

In 2019, Cousins threw for 4,298 yards and a career-high 30 touchdowns. He threw just 10 interceptions.

On paper, his season looks really good. But Cousins didn’t give the Vikings quite the boost they wanted, but there are a lot of factors behind that. The offensive line was trash, the team fired its offensive coordinator halfway through the season, and after Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen, there was really no receiver depth.

Next season will be a make or break season for the Vikings as a whole, Cousins included.

It seems like 2018 was Super Bowl or bust for the Vikings. In 2019, it’s simply playoffs or bust and that starts with Cousins.
