The history between Tom Telesco and offensive line has been kind to the Chargers. The past signings actually indicate that Telesco will shore up the offensive line in free agency. Look at the names he’s brought in:

That doesn’t even take into account a Matt Slauson or even more unheralded names. Franklin had a good year before he flailed out. Telesco usually brings in players under the assumption they will be a stop gap. Most of these guys have given the Chargers two good years. That’s all you can ask.
Who will it be this year? This is a loaded free agency class. The Chargers would be wise to pluck a guard from the talented guard pool. Names like Rodger Saffold, possible Kelechi Osemele, and so many more that could be massive upgrades for the team.
Free agency kicks off in about two weeks. Should be a good time.
