College Football 26 is just around the corner, and we’re anticipating some big names to make their appearances. From real-life coaches to star players, College Football 26 is going to be an immersive experience for sure. Today’s piece will focus on one of the most important players on the team: the quarterback.
While we don’t have the official roster out just yet, there’s no harm in speculating. So let’s take a look at our favorite QBs and how they’re fairing in the College Football 26 tier list.
Drew Allar – Penn State Nittany Lions
Drew is our first QB on the list with his projected 91 OVR. The Penn State starting QB is expected to make his mark in CFB’26 with an exemplary stat spread. With his throw power sitting at 97, there are only a few QBs that surpass him in this regard. Pair that up with a 94 SAC and 90 MAC, and Drew Allar becomes a force to be reckoned with. He’ll definitely be leading Penn State to more than the occasional win.
Garrett Nussmeier – LSU Tigers
LSU is renowned for having some of the best college footballers in the game, and Garrett Nussmeier is a testament to that statement. Garrett is no stranger to the college football world, as this will be his fifth season in the sport. His experience alongside a solid player rating makes him a QB to watch out for. LSU’s top QB was among the top players in yardage in 2024, so you’re bound to see some sprinting action from him in-game.
Cade Klubnik – Clemson Tigers
Similar to Garrett Nussmeier, we don’t have an official rating yet for Cade Klubnik. But if the game is anything similar to real life, you can expect an OVR near or just over 90. Cade has some experience under his belt, leading Clemson to an ACC championship and a College Football playoff in 2024. He’s been keeping his streak hot in the new season, making him a prime QB to play with once the game’s out.
Arch Manning – Texas Longhorns
Legacies are made and maintained in College Football, and that’s precisely what Arch Manning is hoping to do. The season favorite, who will be opening for Texas in CFB’26, has had his fair share of coverage recently. Being a legacy, expectations are high on him to make an impact during his debut, something reflected with his 89 projected OVR in-game. While we can’t say much about him yet, we know College Football 26 has a lot of confidence in him, so we’re putting our faith in a strong debut from him.
DJ Lagway – Florida Gators
Our final entry is DJ Lagway, the Gators’ opening QB. Lagway recently made his debut as a freshman, taking over the QB role mid-season. His gameplay got highlighted as the Gators went on to a 4-1 record under his shot calling. DJ Lagway has made his impression previously, and we’re hoping that translates nicely into the new iteration of College Football. With good career stats and a successful record to back it up, we’re hoping he lands somewhere near the top of the pile.
