King Charles III and his Queen Consort Camilla’s Coronation is fast approaching.
Set to be celebrated at Westminster Abbey on May 6, the crowning ceremony will kickstart a long weekend of merriment and memorable moments, with the Royal Family and their closest friends and family coming together to mark the occasion.
With endless speculation about who has been added to the guest list, many are wondering who is set to attend the King’s Coronation.

Who will attend the King’s coronation?
Earlier this year, Buckingham Palace said: “The Coronation will reflect the monarch’s role today and look towards the future, while being rooted in longstanding traditions and pageantry.”
And the Coronation guest list is sure to be reflective of this vision, too.
The Royal Family
As heirs to the throne, the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children George, Charlotte, and Louis will be in attendance.
The King’s siblings, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, and the Princess Royal are also expected, despite the public pressure to exclude Prince Andrew following his association with paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Their spouses and children, including Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, will also be present. However, Sarah Ferguson, who is the Duchess of York, previously revealed that she hasn’t received an invitation yet, according to Glamour.
Will Harry and Meghan be attending?
After much speculation, it was announced recently that Prince Harry would be attending but his wife Meghan Markle will not.
The Duchess of Sussex is reportedly set to remain at the couple’s residence in California with their children.
During the release of his memoir, Harry said: “There’s a lot that can happen between now and then. But the door is always open. The ball is in their court. There’s a lot to be discussed and I really hope that they’re willing to sit down and talk about it.”
The Coronation is on the same day as their son Archie’s fourth birthday.
A statement on Wednesday said: “Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on 6 May.
“The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.”
Political and Royal leaders of other nations
Members of the Royal Family and heads of government from other nations will also be in attendance.
For instance, to represent the US, First Lady Jill Biden will be attending.
Celebrities
A long list of celebrities who have close relationships with the Royal Family are expected to show their faces at the Coronation.
These will be regular invitees of Buckingham Palace, like David and Victoria Beckham, Stella McCartney, Rowan Atkinson, and Bear Grylls.
Charities
The audience will also include volunteers from the King and Queen Consort’s charity affiliations.
