Who were Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham scouts watching as Benfica beat Eintracht Frankfurt?

There was a cracking game in the Europa League at the Estadio da Luz on Thursday night.

It was Europa League night as Benfica welcomed Eintracht Frankfurt to the Portuguese capital.

And there were a number of London representatives in attendance.

The home side claimed a 4-2 victory in the first leg of the quarter-final match, against the ten men of Frankfurt, who will go into the second leg holding two away goals.

An entertaining match was watched by scouts from Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham, but who were they watching?

Here we take a look at a few of the players that could have been on the radar of the three Premier League sides.

The 10 players Arsenal were linked with in January that could make a summer transfer move

Joao Felix

Only one place to start and that's with the Portuguese wonderkid.

Felix is just 19 years old and was responsible for the victory, scoring a superb hat-trick. He became the youngest player to score a Europa League hat-trick and will be hoping a semi-final appearance is just around the corner.

The teenager has a whopping €120million release clause and a number of European suitors.

However, that price tag would probably put all of the three London clubs off.

Alex Grimaldo

The Benfica defender played the full 90 minutes in the Europa League contest and has been linked with two of our clubs previously.

Unai Emery and Arsenal were thought to be interested in January, with Emery looking for a long-term Nacho Monreal replacement.

Tottenham have also been credited with an interest, with the full-backs two of Mauricio Pochettino's problem positions that needs sorting this summer.

Ante Rebic

A number of Croatian players were coveted in the summer, following their run to the World Cup semi-finals.

Rebic was one of those, with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham all rumoured to be interested.

He penned a contract extension with Frankfurt after the transfer window closed, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2022, but he admitted he would like to play in England one day.

He said: "I can’t deny many clubs, some from England, expressed an interest. The Premier League is attractive and it would suit my style. I’d like to experience it."

Luka Jovic

One of Europe's top hitmen.

Jovic has 26 goals in 42 appearances for Bundesliga outfit Frankfurt this season and has drawn the attention of the biggest and best clubs on the continent.

He is the type of player all three of our clubs would be interested in, but would probably be priced out of a move to any of them.
