Who was fired from The Apprentice last night and what is next week's task?

This week the Apprentices had the opportunity to approach the tourism market of north Wales.

Tasked to create activities for a public tour, one person fell short of Lord Sugar's expectations.

As the week 6 competition heated up, the Apprentices were battling for their group win and a chance at safety, but someone fell short.

As nine contestants remained, two were safe from the boardroom questioning.

At the property where the candidates live, everyone was beaming afterwards - but one sad face was going home in the back of a black taxi.

Who was fired from The Apprentice last night?

Amy Anzel was the candidate fired from the show last night (Thursday, February 11).

The outspoken contestant wasn't too hard done by, as she did not generate enough profit to take the win.

The American also said the investment offered by Lord Sugar wasn't enough regardless of her loss.

Lord Sugar accused Amy of 'dodging responsibility' in the task, citing that as the main reason why she left the show.

What is next week's Apprentice task?

Next week Lord Sugar has tasked his contestants with creating their own driverless vehicles.

As collisions occur, a sneak peek shows Lord Sugar getting angry at the boardroom and calling something "pathetic".

The Apprentice Series 16 will continue on BBC One every Thursday
