A contestant on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire rang The Chase’s Mark Labbett as her "phone a friend" but it all went wrong.
Charlotte Church, Richard Osman and John Barnes were all on today’s celebrity version hoping to win big money for charity.
Up first was pop princess Charlotte who revealed her hobby was quantum physics.
After reaching £16,000 having only used one lifeline, host Jeremy Clarkson asked Charlotte: “Which one of these publications was discontinued in print form in 2019?”
The options were A) Argos catalogue B)The Independent C) Yellow Pages or D) Beano.
Charlotte said she hadn’t a clue, so decided to use her lifeline of phone a friend.
Asked who she was calling, Charlotte said "Mark".
To which Jeremy questioned: “This isn’t Mark from The Chase?”
But Charlotte confirmed his assumption, saying she and Mark had been friends for a number of years.
Jeremy said: “That’s quite clever.”
Whilst everyone thought The Beast would give the correct answer straight away, they were shocked when he stumbled.
Mark admitted that he didn’t know whether it was C) Yellow Pages or D) Beano.
This led Charlotte to use her third lifeline of 50/50.
Eventually, the Welsh songstress chose the right answer of C) Yellow Pages, but viewers were shocked, with many taking to Twitter.

Kevin joked: “Imagine having Mark from the chase as your phone a friend and he is not sure of the answer.”
Andy wrote: “Imagine being on Who Wants to be a Millionaire and your phone a friend was Mark from The Chase.”
And Evann said: “How clever is Charlotte having Mark from the chase as her phone a friend.”
